The first thermos was invented in 1902 which was a vaccuum bottle. Vacuum bottles are double-walled glass containers with the space between the walls emptied and tightly closed to prevent heat from spreading. In my STEAM project, I wanted to create a DIY thermos to understand heat retainment.
