I started this project because drawing and sketching are my favorite activities, and naturally pencil sharpeners became a good friend. I decided to create a pencil sharpener that I can carry around with me, so that I can use it at any time, in class, or outdoors when I am drawing or sketching. This project is titled “My Pen Pal” as it describes a pal for my pen. The pen here refers to my pencil, and the pal here refers to my pencil sharpener. With my pen pal, now I can finally travel anywhere and sketch without worrying about my pencil getting blunt.
