Our project is inspired by Taiwanese architect, Arthur Huang who made a building out of 1.5 million plastic bottles and social media influencers, Putri Samboda and Diana Rikasari who like to make creations out of recycled materials. We took inspiration from Putri Samboda’s painting/artwork made out of plastic and Diana Rikasari’s DIY bag made out of plastic. The world produces more than 350 million tonnes of plastic each year and it takes around 450 years for plastic to decompose. We want to try to find a fun solution to this problem that all ages can do. Our project can be a fun activity, arts and crafts project, family/friends activity, and many more.
