Evidence has been found that ancient Babylonians understood soap making as early as 2800 BC Archeologists have found soap-like material in historic clay cylinders from this time. It has since become a home essential for not only surface cleaning but also as a prevention of bacterial growth and thus relates to our health. In our project, we attempted to create DIY soap as we believe that understanding the method of production will help us increase the awareness of the importance of the product.
